But, what can we really do to feel healthier and happier in these beautiful seasons? Here are the 6 simple advises that will help you boost your mood and help you stay healthier:
#1 Get plenty of oxygen
Nowadays we spend more time indoors ever than before. Most of our time is spent in offices and shopping centres. Now that summer has arrived, make use of warmer weather; go to parks and green areas to get plenty of oxygen. As you get fresh air more often, you will feel much more vigorous.
#2 Consume more fresh fruits and vegetables
It’s time to leave behind the fatty, meat and carbohydrate rich diet of the cold winter months! Warmer months brought many fresh vegetables and fruits that you can buy from local producers. Change your diet and refresh your body. Fresh fruits and vegetables such as plums, strawberries, asparagus, artichokes, beans, arugula, fresh mint, parsley, beets, plum and tomatoes can easily be found in this season.
#3 Refresh both your home and your soul with spring cleaning
With the advent of spring and summer, most of us do a spring cleaning in our home. This season not only refresh your home, but also your soul! Keep a distance from the people who bring you down, stay with yourself more, meditate, make a list of things you want to achieve in life and focus on them. You will notice that you feel much better and focused.
#4 Get vitamin D
The sunny days came back! The best times to store vitamin D! Try to stay in the sun every day for 15-20 minutes. Vitamin D is effective in growing and repairing bones, as well as strengthening your immune system and helping you lose weight. Besides sunlight, it is possible to get vitamin D from foods such as salmon, shrimp, sardines, tuna fish, egg yolks, and mushrooms.

As of summer, everybody gets worried about looking more fit. But exercising is a must not only for the appearance, but also for our health. Since the cumbersome winter months are behind now, stay active. Go to a fitness centre, walk outside whenever you can, take yoga classes… Be fit not only to look good but also to stay healthy!
